And we're off!!!

The 2006 season got off on the right foot yesterday, as Schilling looked great on the mound, newcomer Mike Lowell went yard, and Papi Ortiz hit a moon shot that practically put a crater in the right-field foul pole when it finally came down. Red Sox 7, Texas 3. 1 down, 161 to go.

Here we go, Red Sox, here we go.
